i was wondering if anyone here has replaced their gas cap with one from the dealership because i have to buy one tomorrow and i was wondering how much the damage was since it's gonna come in a blue, black, and white Mopar box. My first one went this summer and i bought one from autozone big mistake didn't work so i have to go to the dealership tomorrow. I guess i could walk down a couple dorms and steal my cousins off his 05 sxt. LOL

locking from the dealer was 17 something. Came with 2 keys. The only thing though small if you get the locking, you need to click it twice to work right

So i went to the dealership after my forklift training this morning and it cost me 21 bucks for a non locking gas cap WOO. LOL

 

should have got the locking one. Oh well. you know what you can say now small. When your filling up gas and people look at you, hold up your gas cap and say its a mopar.

 

LOL hells yeah.

 

when i need a new gas cap, i just go to random gas stations and say that i left my cap on the pump and can i see your lost gas cap box. every station has one and then i just dig around till i find one that looks good.

 

Hey; maybe my locking gas cap will work for some of yours. Put sugar in there for an octane booster.
