Ok so I dont really drive my car except on the weekends and this started happening to me again. Now I did some research and found out im not the only one!! Here is another person with the same issue>> http://townhall-talk.edmunds.com/dir...ew/.f0fa685/30 Now I know Im not going crazy but I dont know what they did to remedy the issue. Any help would be appreciated!! Im lowering my car this weekend and now im scared its gonna blow up!!!

your issue happened to me once while i was on the freeway. i was doing 65 mph and the darn thing downshifted into3rd gear and i almost got rear ended because of it. now that has only happened once, so i do not know what the remedy is. and Ive now since them have had my tranny rebuilt due to the fact of the radiator taking a crap and mixing fluids and whatnot. my thought would be maybe somewhere inside the transmission or something to do with the PCM. Good luck with this and i hope you are able to resolve the issue!

Well ive been talking to my dodge friend who works at the dealership and he says the input and output speed sensor on our cars are popular and go bad often. I guess the caravan, stratus and others use the same sensor and it is a common issue. They are 30 bucks each and if it happens again I am gonna try it.

Putting my lowering kit together and trying to find the camera!!! LOL

Ok well it happened again while I was coming home from work. The speedo was going crazy so I let it go and kept driving. Finally the CEL came on and a few mins later it went into limp mode. When I finally got home I pulled up p0700 and p0513. I think the second one for the key is weird cause it works fine. Anyway any info would be greatful. Im thinkin of startin with the speed sensor in and out. Any other suggestions??
