Default Passenger Window Problem

So it's been a few days that I've had this problem. The control on the driver-side for the passenger window sometimes works, and most times doesn't. Works fine going down, but i can't get it up, LOL! The passenger-side control works fine. What I wanna do is open up the driver door panel but I wanna know what I'd be getting myself into. And of course, what I need to do to get in to it.

same thing happened to me, you need a new switch it sounds like. no big deal. to get access to it. i think the housing on the armrest just pops off or there is one screw that holds it on. but you take that off and you will see the switches and the are i think 2-4 little screws holding them on to the panel. just unscrew and unclip, swap out part with new one and put everything back together.

Cool, thanks for the info. Any idea on the price of the switch?

Before you replace the switch, replace the fuse.

You can find the panel and switch used on ebay, new they are 10 bucks from autozone.

Its the not fuse.... It wouldnt move at all if the fuse was broken since the op said it goes down but not up
i had the same problem on my driver side switch that controls the passenger side. Each switch has a different price but i think it was like 26 dollars from the dealership.

All you have to do it pop up the thing that holds the switches and then unscrew the 2 screws. And take off the switch and clip it to the connecter.

So no fuse, check? got it. And the armrest cover just pops off? should I use a flathead or anything? I'll stop by the dealership tomorrow, gotta buy a couple other things from there anyway. thanks!
