Well i've heard that those covers are illegal in new york so i don't want to get into trouble so i'll prolly fab up some fiber glass ones and take pics and show the outcome of it.

No way!! I would think the BLACKOUTS would be but not eyelids!! It makes no sense. Thats messed up if its true.

Well new york is also the state trying to ban HID's in new cars.

Thats funny so what no one can drive their new car if its factory equipped with HIDS!! LOL like to see em try. Car companies would be all up their A**es. LOL. I can understand aftermarket ones cause some peolpe dont know how to adjust them and blind other drivers. I have heard of insurance companies not covering peolpe in an accident with aftermarket HIDS. Crazy

My only concern with the velcro application would be the gap between the light and the lid, and with the angle of the lights you would probably get alot of air under there and they would be ripped off.

Yea with our I can see that happenin. My Iroc was a flat piece of plastic. Actually I think the wind force kept them on. But still curious to see if anyone has any ideas.
