Installing An Aftermarket Car Head Unit
No its just for show. I threw a couple of leds in the back of it so I get a glow. I like it because you can "ISO DIN" install the headunit. You dont have to use those ugly trim rings that come with the radio. Sorry I havent got a pic yet but will have a bunch once I lower my car tomorrow!!!

I meant for the future in case he ever wants a new radio. You use the same screws to screw in the install kit. Im thinking about getting another radio so thats what I meant. That happened to me once. I wanted to change out my radio (in another car) and I couldnt find my radio puller so I tried with wire and small flatheads but couldnt get it. So now I make sure I always have that tool.

And the pocket im talking about is the tiny one on the metra kit that you could maybe fit one cd case into. Not very functional but I lit it up with Leds. I will be posting pics tomorrow. Im working on lowering my car in about two hours.
