Default Installing An Aftermarket Car Head Unit

I know it's easy, and I want to do it, but how will it look in my car? It seems like the Neon is round, and the head unit is rectangular. Anyone have pictures of their installation? Will there be a big difference?

nah, you need to get a dash/installation kit that you can find at wal mart or your local car audio shop. and make sure to get a wiring kit also. makes things a lot easier and you can always put the factory radio back in if you ever wanted to sell it. hope this helps!

How would it look though? Do you have a link to the compatibility kit?

I can take a picture tomorrow for you if you want. The installation kit takes care of that problem and it looks just fine. The kit has the rounded edges on the outside and fits the stereo inside.

The wiring kit helps as well. Just match the colors up.

Oh yeah, you will need an antenna adapter. I can give you a like to where I got mine on eBay. Came to like $5 shipped for the Scosche brand one. Plug and play.

Edit: Here is the eBay seller. Just search for the 2003-2005 Neon adapter. http://myworld.ebay.com/volaudio/
He also has the dash installation kits and wiring too.

Why didn't the Best Buy guy talk about this at all? Do they have these parts at Best Buy?
