I'm just going to send them back to lsp so she can work her magic on em.
I messed up some of the silver leads on the board removing leds and resistors, so I may have screwed the board. I just don't have the time or patience for these dammed things.

If your going to do something with the back up lights may I suggest these:

They have 48 smt leds and would go in perfectly when the outer lense is removed.

I will be putting those in mine, should look sweet!

Good luck on the tail situation.

I got my boards back from lsp.. I got the last set, the same style as mine but with 3mm leds. If I can somehow get my others to work I'd have two.. lol

Couple other things:

Since I wasn't using the leds for the headlights anymore, I'm going to be putting them to use.
The ones that come with the headlights are in fact the four pronged Piranha SuperFlux LED, which is a very bright led. So I took 4 of them out of there 194 socket bases, drilled 4 holes in the hvac and mounted them... For now.

I'm trying to figues out right now which wires for the hvac is the illumination wire and which one is the ground.

While I was in the center console I attempted to get the defroster led in there from vamp which i got awhile back. despite some triming of the socket, it still wasn't enough. The socket for the tiny board for the defroster does use a #74 led, the same as the hvac itself.

I now have

2- 24cm (24led) strips
2- 12cm (12led) strips
On the way, for the ultimate instrument cluster!
Btw if you didn't know I just picked up an r/t cluster... yay!
