Ok so I got the news I have been wanting today and I am not getting laid off this winter so this project is back on. I will be buying the rest of the components to get the speaker part of this project done after the holidays.

I got the cluster trim painted and installed today and I got the replacement l.e.d. from superbrights for my cluster so I'll take some pics tomorrow

Work looks good. You want to come do my car when you get done? LOL. I have been considering doing some audio, but my car has been broke into once and I don't really care to give someone an incentive to break into my car. Plus, my trunk is small enough, I would put subs in off course which take up precious room.

 

Everything I have doen so far has been fairly easy.. I'm just thinking that if someone breaks into my car I get a better h/u.... Besides I will always take the screen off when I park the car.

I am just about done with the cluster just waiting for some things to arrive from vamp.
I used the lacquer thinner on the turn signals and it worked great they are now bright red.


The painted cluster bezel really compliments the lights.

I will be coverting alot of things in my car to led over the next couple of months.
I started with the interior in which I have ordered everything and I'm just waiting for some time to install.
I have my first order for the exterior in and it consists of just about everylight for the rear of the car. Everything but the lights that blink since I need to track down a 2003 and up relay for it.
2x T25 Wedge Red 3157 SMT Tower 48led ( tail light )
2x 921 Color: Super White Wide Angle SMT 18 Led ( back up )

1x 921 Red Wide Angle Matrix (3rd brake light)
1x T10 Wedge Cool White 194 Matrix (license plate)
Can't wait to get them in the mail and get them installed...

12 volt: No I have not purchased subs or amps yet, those are the last items I'm buying.

I will take pics of them before and after, I will have to track down a relay before I install the 48led lights so I don't get ricer flash. I will still test fit them to make sure they work and of course for pics...

 

Nice. Where did you get your LED's from? Also where did you get your 6x9's from?
