Default 1st gen owner looking at a 2nd gen

hey all,
Can't say I have been on the 2nd gen forums before but I am on the 1st gen. Anyways, I have a 99 plymouth expresso right now and browsing for a new car I came across a 05 SRT-4. Long story short, I went to go look at it today and the dealership doesn't know much about it and well its a ford dealership so I wasn't surprised when I pointed out more things than the salesman. Once I popped the hood i realized something....and quickly acted like nothing was different(behold a stage 3 turbo, with a aftermarket intercooler, motor mounts, wastegate...whole nine yards). Umm can I take this for a test drive?? SURE, THEN it gets better, it has a short throw shifter in it and a/f guage. Not to mention this is one of the limited edition models. The GM of the dealer was telling me be careful this drives REALLY fast and does about 350-400hp. OH yes sir i will thanks. LOL

SO i want to know what are the pros and cons about the srt-4's, what major problems should i look for. Not sure if I am getting this car yet or not but...since the price is right i think i might. it has 38k incase your wondering. Links below to pics!

man i dont own a srt-4 but im pretty sure if it has a stage 3 turbo that there arent any cons to it rite off the bat. and the only thing would be gas mileage being a little lower than ur 1st gen neon cause it being a 5 speed and stage 3.
but yeah go on srt-4 sec to get more info.

how much was it btw ?
did u by any chance get the number of the vehicle like out of 200?
oh yeah and thats one good looking neon there cause its the commerative edition.

yea, I'd say a REAL good price would be 15k.... anything more would be a normal price... with it being a limited edition car, he could probably easily get 20k if a couple SRT-4 guys discovered it

BINGO, the lucky number IS 15k, and since its at a dealership, I know I can do better! Going to go tinker with it again after work today, from reading on the srt forums, once you have the srt bug you cant stop lol.

lol.good choice if you decide to go with the srt-4 cause of its power and upgrades possibility. and pretty sure ull get reconized everywhere u go cause of the stripes.pretty hard to miss the limited edition srt-4 coming down the road really fast.

also 15k isnt a bad price.
