Default 01 mopar lip kit (pics)

well, it's been a crazy summer for me guys, that i can say only just finished. worked my a.. off all summer, and doing some other stuff, didin't really have time to open the forum a lot, didin't even have time to talk to my folks back home, but it's over now, and since about a week i'm on vacation, and still will be for about two more. any way, my birthday came a while ago, so, as a birthday present, i got some stuff and did some work on the neon. it took me a while to finish the job, cause i was doing it whenever i had some time of, but it's finished, and this is what i did: my neon is a se, so i added power looks, an alarm system with a remote trunk opener and remote engine starter; new custom floor mats, w a neon logo on all four of them; and, a mopar lip kit(front, rear, sideskirts) and an r/t dual exhaust muffler. how it turned out, u can see in the slideshow. i don't really care what others think, although all i got so far are good reviews, i like how it looks. however, i'd like to hear you're opinion on it, good or bad, since u boys and girls are the enthusyasts on this cars. so, sorry for boring u with the long talk, here are the pics. enjoy.

I have a question on your floor mats, are they the same feel and same underneath as the stock ones? I like how the lip kit looks along with the mirrors. I say the rims need to be a little bigger, but other than that, it looks nice.

It looks awesome! only thing I am really not feelling on the car is the wheels, they just look like they don't belong, but thats just my opinion. Keep up the good work!

my rims are the first thing i changed on the car, and cause i had to, so at the time didin't had money for something better w tires, so i just got the rims and used the tires i had. and they're called AKUZA, were cheap, and didin't have problems yet.
for djmagic and contagious, the floor mats are from Lloyd's, http://www.buycarfloormats.com/lloyd...-mats-p-1.html . and no, they're much better than the oem mats, thicker, bigger, softer, but expensive. i paid 180$, just cause i embroidered all 4, u can get just the front ones and it will be cheaper. and they fit much better than the oem ones, cause they're bigger, pictures can't really show it, but they are worth the money.
contagius, it's not that big of a deal to make the lip kit fit. it took a whole day, just cause i took my time. the only problem is withe the ends, cause our bumpers are shorter than the 03-05, so i had some cutting, heating and bending to do.

Awesome job!!! I always liked how the 03-05 mopar rear lip kit looks on a 00-02 rear bumper. It looks so sexy. I love the floor mats too.
I think you should remove your side moldings and get some projector headlights, but other than that, Excellent work Dorin!

thanks mat. i'm done w the neon for a while, took to much of my time and money, i'm only gonna enjoy it now. maybe after the winter i'll think about getting new headlights, taillights, third light etc...
smallblock, the rims are 14". do u wanna get 14"? they are in very good condition, and the tires are brand new, yokohamas, i love them. not right now, but if i would find somebody to sell the rims w tires, i would think about getting some 17".
