i have had this problem with my car also, it was my camshaft sensor and knock sensor, the cam shaft sensor is really easy to fix, it the square, with circle on it, i think all the bolts are size 10mm. it should atke about ten minute to replace, and your fine.

Unhappy Driver side rear door won't open?????

Yesterday I tried to open the door and it wouln't open. I have the child safty on and thought it was that but it's not. It's the only one of the doors that won't open. Don't know if this has anything to do with code P0038. Any info will help.

Won't open from the inside or outside? I'm guessing this is a back door? No, a CEL won't cause one door not to open.

I have a 2005 neon sxt 2.0. Wont start or turn over with key. Changed the PCM, Ignition switch, battery, starter. All are new, but still won't turn over with key. Ran a jumper switch to turn over the starter and turned key to on position but still will not start. Checked starter relay and that is ok. All fuses are good. Any sugestions????

Try alternator , plugs wires and coil all that might help start your sxt. timing belt might need to be changed also.

'true to some extent but fuel injected cars also use air suction throttle. the more air let in the more fuel it mixes with it. so pumping wont help as much as depressing the pedal all together will. just my two cence.

and as far as the cam position sensor goes.. good luck. alot of people have problems with this car and sensor. ide recommend only replacing with mopars parts too. the after market sensors would go bad on me after a month or two.
