lower control arm makin funny noise since wreck
i have an 05 dodge neon se, and i was going 10-15 mph around a turn and this new strip of road goin into the new gas station had gotten spinkled on with a little rain after a long drought in ga. well needless to say i went straight into the 6 inch curb with my wheels going all the way to the left( the reason they were all the way to the left it i was tired i open closed at my work i was tired i was takin the turn and i was like huh im commin towards a curb and turn my wheels all the way to the left, not really thinkin that was not right, hence being tired). any ways ive replaced every thing.
rack and pinion-$250
lower control arms (right side 2xs)-$280
sway bar link-$10
bearing-$15
new rim-$20(steelie)
total cost of not finding out a noise= my insanity
anyways, but now when i start out it makes a noise, and if i take a turn to hard, or i hit a pot hole it feels like something is shifting a round and almost like its gonna fall off. but i have narrowed it down to the exact spot of where the noise is coming from. its the joint where the bolt goes across horizontally into it not straight up. its as if the hole is too big and its just moving around inside of it. please if any body has had this happen and have fixed it please let me know.

Sounds like you found the area. Did you get a new bolt??? Did you check the original vs. new contorl arm for bushing fit?
Might just get a poly bushing set from say Prothane (easy to install) and see if that tightens up the joint.

took everything apart and bolt is fine every thing is fine but i talked to abunch of people at different parts stores and one guy said it might be my cradle. so i am taking it to someone who will look at my aligment on my cradle and my wheels to tell me if any thing is bent. but still where are those prothane bushings.
