Well Time to sell my baby....
Well guys its been great but I have found a great deal on a 98 Firebird Formula w/ 6-spd mtx and only way I can afford it is if i sell my neon... so here goes

2001 Dodge Neon ES 5 speed manual transmission (pretty sure its a 3.94 final drive as the gearing is way different then the stock trans.)
Color: Shale Green Metallic (looks amazing!)
4 wheel Disc Brakes w/ ABS & selectable on/off Traction control -- one of the few non-R/t neons that have this
does not have power windows or doors
Power Steering
Power Sunroof added by dealer by previous owner
Stock F & R Sway Bars
All together very rare options on a non-R/T neon
Engine & Chassis Miles: 98k (oil change every 3k miles, and now it gets changed with Royal Purple 5w-30)
Trans Miles: 68k
-- This car is Daily Driven and very very reliable --
Trans was replaced at 65k miles due to a leaking axle seal, ended up being replaced with a 3.94 trans.
This car has the expected body defects for a car its age minor scratches and such on front bumper from daily highway driving. The tint on the rear drivers side window got scratched b/c of a mishap my little brother had, the window will need to be retinted if so desired but it should be fairly cheap to do b/c it is a manual window. The only other problem is a small oil leak from the oil pressure sensor fitting i installed for the oil pressure gauge, leaks less than 1/8 of a quart every 3k miles. She does however burn off a bit of oil as most neons do with this age and mileage. All considering this car runs extremely well, and turns heads everywhere she goes!!
Ok now for everyones favorite part the mods list:
- SRT4 Rear section w/ straight pipe (No resonators) from the Cat back.
- I also have a Vibrant Dual rear section if you prefer a quieter ride (will include for extra $125)
- CUSTOM front bumper flares gives the car a much more aggressive look.
- Mancini Racing Silver Powder coated Valve Cover
- Kobe Envy 17x7" rims wrapped in Kumho 711's (i think its 711..)
- TriNet Motorsports x-drilled & Slotted Rotors (icebreaker design)
- AEM CAI
- Booger Shift Linkage Bushings
- Prothane "Race" MMI's
- 1.6"-1.8" Lowering Kit, not sure of brand they were on when I bought her (springs only... I plan on getting Tokico Blues soon)
- Vibrant Type-V F & R strut bars
- Prosport Narrowband A/F & Oil Pressure Gauges in an Autometer dual pillar pod
- SRT-4 Store Red LED Dome Light (so my night vision doesn't get messed up when someone needs light for something)
- SRT-4 Shift Boot w/ Pilot shift ****
- Color Matched M3 Style Side view Mirrors
- Diamond Clear DEPO Headlights
- Modified (Lensless) Altezza Tails
- Custom "Gutter Guard" Grill [Silver]
- Supra or GSX style spoiler w/ LED Brake Light (idk which it is b/c it was on her when i got it..)
- Rear Tints and front windshield A-line Tint
- Eclipse Dual 12" Subs in a Tuned and Sealed Box
- Eclipse XA1000 Amp
- Dual XDvD8183 flip-out 7" touch screen headunit (with remote and parking brake bypass enabled)
- Kicker KS693 6x9 3-way speakers in the rear
- Polk Audio DB650 6.5" 2-way speakers in the front
- Infinity 3.5" Speakers in dash Will get model later
Extra Parts Included with purchase:
- Stock 15" Steelies wrapped in Kumho Ecsta ASX tires (205/55/15 size) [for the winter time] with 5 spoke hubcaps
- Stock tail lights
- Full stock airbox assembly
- Fog light delete covers
- Stock Shift boot and ****
I think thats it but I may be forgetting a part or two...
Just some more details, the car sounds amazing very loud at WOT but perfectly tolerable at cruising speeds. The sound system gets a lot of attention as the subs hit very very hard even considering they are under powered... with a 1000watt amp they would seriously pound, and a 4 channel amp for the speakers would really kick the system into super high gear! Movies come out crystal clear on the flip-out and sound amazing! The i-pod cable is routed to the glove box and works perfectly!
I am selling her as is, and have done the best that I could in describing her, if you have any questions PM me or e-mail me at Izero29434@aol.com
Asking Price is $7000 as is w/ all parts mentioned above included OBO
Now for the pictures!!:
If you want more pictures just ask.. ill be putting some more up soon as i get a chance.
