The cluster is plug and play. I have one from an 05 srt-4 on my car.

Question is....why do you need 2 rpm guages?

rpm gauges are fun too look at from time to time.lol.

I want one because the way I drive, I may mess up my motor. I tend to floor it and sometimes my car sounds like the RPM is going past the red line.

I guess that little one is better than a 5" glued to the dash, lol!

I've always wondered why people put a second one in as well. The factory one is almost right on anyways (a little off on purpose). A shift light maybe...

lol i was one of those with a 5 inch tach well not really but i was going to add one just cause it would of looked nice with my glowshift 7 color series gauges. also cause i wanted to change my rpm to like 6k.

So back to my original question, will this piece come out of the rear of my car or do I need to buy a muffler tip or something along that matter?

All that "test pipe" does is remove your catalytic converter.
