Default Test Pipe Resonator

I saw this and am interested in buying it for my 2001 Neon SE. My only problem is my cardumbness. Okay do I need anything more to bolt this on my car other than what the car already has? Also, will this completly replace my muffler meaning the end of the pipe that I see in the picture is what will come out of the back end of my car? I am over the stock exhaust and am looking for something that will make some noise.

Sorry I was in a hurry and forgot the link. Also, why should it only be used off road?

This actually replaces your cat. meaning if you put this on you will not have a cat. converter anymore which is why it's for off road only. it bolts on to your exhaust manifold/ headers(if you have them). if you plan on buying this you will also need gaskets and possibly exhaust clamps, and you will not pass Echeck if you have that where you live.

I live in Tennessee. I just asked my dad and he said that we don't have an emissions test. So can you guys kind of make a list of things I will need to purchase with this? I will probably just take it to the muffler shop down the street they will put it on for $50 (my dad knows them). Also my car does not have a tach. Can I just buy a new cluster from ebay for a 2000-2005 Neon that has the tach and use it for my car? They look the same but I just don't want to buy it if my SE is not wired for a tach.

i think you can swap the clusters easily, I think a little work has to be done to it. Also you will lose your mileage

So the cluster won't be plug and play? What kind of mod do I need to do with it?

i have a pipe on my car but it is hooked up to my header, and also you will need to fix your o2 sensors or your check engine light will stay on. i have a cherry bomb glass pack out back and it is loud, you will have to upgrade your stereo if you plan on listing to music in your car.

What exactly do you mean by "fix your O2 sensors"? How do I fix them to keep the check engine light from coming on?

There is another thread right now about O2 sensors and there is a link in it. Go check it out.
