sounds like you might also want to think about getting a capacitor too. only if you have subs in the trunk that take a lot of power.

-I just bought a new one from NAPA for my '05 SXT. Just the stock replacement one. Cost me $54.88 including tax.

I run the optima yellow top on my ride. Its been the best battery I have had. I highly recomend it.

Conventional batteries are made by one of 3 companies in this country. Brands do not matter much. Most of Wally is Johnson Controls I think so same as Mopar, Motorcraft, Interstate, Die Hard, Duralast etc....

The Optima (and others like it) are very good batteries but expensive.

go with an optmia yellow top if you can afford it. part number d35. perfect fit. i have one in my 04 neon sxt. the bad thing is you wont be able to use the battery heat protector bag thing that goes over the stock battery. which you really dont need anyways

i might need one soon too because every few weeks, my terminals would build corrosion on it and i gotta clean it. The corrosion sometimes prevents my car from starting because they block electricity flow to the starter.
