Cool serpentine belt pulley

i have a weird problem here, my serpentine belt tensioner is hitting my power steering pulley which it caused to break it. Now my question is what may cause this? and whats involved to fix it?

the spring in the tensioner gave out more than likely. as for the tensioner, try and remove the belt if you havent already. take the 2 bolts out that are holding the tensioner in place and put a new one on the same way you took it off. and i would recommend replacing the belt, just in case you might have nicked it. now with the power steering pully, that may be a different story. depending if you damaged the rod on the p/s pump, you might be able to get away with putting another pully on. if not, you might have to get another p/s pump

the best way to get to our belts is to remove the passengers tire-then the splash guard and boom it should be right there.GL
