I am trying to find out what people have gotten their cars to...

How much horsepower have you made?

How much boost you got (without blowing the engine up)

What quater mile have you gotten?

I want to know the limitations of the car?...esp the bottom end

stock i ran 17.2 wit a vacuum leak
k&n filter, pacesetter header and REX MMI 16.7
im goin to get a mag cam install and i plan on goin to da dyno after dat

 

All I've done is got it up to 110-115

 

lol, I've got it up to 115 going downhill. never put it on the dyno or took it to the track.

 

13.89, running 9 psi, hp in the 240ish range... (never got it dynoed however)

0-60 time right now.... as fast as i can push it to 60 mph... haha

it was quick, but work in progress, hoping to be in high 11s, more than likely going to be in mid 12s however... will be pushing around 400whp hoping buy summer time, if money starts to grow on trees in my neck of the woods, lol

 

accually prolly more in the 230 whp range now that i think about it

 

16 @ 89mph. Power mods are I/E, mounts, short throw. Thats about it. My car is a beast on the top end(far as stockish neons go), but is slow out of the hole.

 

0-60 in 10 minutes ROFL. jk

 

i was never curious to take it to a dyno, although my engine feels really alive when i hit the floor. however, specialy for the auto's, don't forget guys, the neon it's just a street economical car, not a racing car. i know for sure i don't wanna put my tranny through all that racing and getting to the limits stuff.
of course, if i would have a manual, like the one on the r/t, and w some good mods(like a turbo), the story would be different. but not with my 01 se ATX
