Default is this possible ?

w/o removing the air box is it possible to put a airfilter on my car that is a clamp on instead of a drop in ? and does anyone know the stock tube size ?

you can take the top of your air box off and put a k&n filter on.

yuh but is that a drop in air filer tor a clamp on ?

i put a clamp on once. It clamped right onto the TB (throttel body). But if your thinking of leaving the top off, remember that the o2 sensor is not doing anything unless the top of the air box it back on.

well eith now i have the top fo the air box off and i left it off cuz i think my car breaths a lil better w/o it seems like it runs a lil better but i wanted to get a different filer for it and was wondering if its possible to put a clampon filter on that part of the tube that sticks into the air box .... do you have aim or msn or yahoo.. maybe i could talk to you on there .. would be a lot easier

(the o2 sensor is not doing anything unless the top of the air box it back on) ......... do you mean the intake air temp sensor? it will just be sensing the hot underhood air. remove the lid and mount the sensor lower on the car. you'll also ingest hot under hood air with the lid off, but the sound is great with the lid off and a k&n!
