Default Anyone else have any idea whats wrong?

I just bought a 2003 neon with the basic 16 valve 2.0 and when its about 40 degrees or colder out it takes alot of cranking (about 5-10 minutes) to get it started. It has a new starter (old one gave up from all of the cranking) new head gasket, and spark plugs. The battery and alternator are okay, it cranks fine, just doesnt want to fire up. Once it does start it runs fine, and when its 45 degrees or warmer out it starts like it should. Anyone know what could be causing this?

keep to one topic please. You changed the plugs themselves but not the wires? If so you need to get a new set of plugs and wires as a set and replace because our beautiful cars like to carbon track thus making them misfire you can't notice at first and it'll never through a code trust me. I went through that headache already.

yes yes, if the new wires dont work, then check the coil pack... and also maybe by some chance your fuel lines are freezing.. if your temp sensor isnt plugged up that will cause it to be hard to start sometimes too, **but that will also make it run cold all the time** other than that, ive never had this problem, so thats the only things i can think of that may help...

good luck on this
