Hey guys....your the experts so im here to ask! i have heard about people fitting either a Eagle Talon Turbo or a Mistu something Turbo to a DODGE NEON!!! i'm trying to track down the turbo off of a talon! i was wondering if any1 has any info or links where i can do my research on this! thanx appreaciate

Do a google search on "DSM CLUB" and you should be able to find a bunch of DSM clubs around the world (Canada's is www.ca.dsm.org.) Within you'll find a more information about T/L/E than you want to know. You're bound to find some parts for sale as well; perhaps some locally.

 

I would not suggest using the mitsubishi turbo. It will work, but it is a small turbo and creates a lot of heat. It is engineered to work in the talon/eclipse and will work in a neon, but you will not gain as much HP as you think. You will have to make a custom exhuast manifold because the mistsubishi engines have the manifold on the front of the motor. If you want to do it right build a custom kit or go with hahns or chill factory.

 

You can do it with a custom manifold , but if your going to go turbo do it the right way get the Hahn kit. Super 20g does wonders

 

where can you find the hahn turbo kit? the only one ive saw was the chill factory

Yes, chill factory is good set up. It's owned by a frined of mine, If your going to put a turbo on your car and go to all that trouble Id get all good parts. Most likely all new stuff too. Unless your planning on rebuilding it befor you put it in.

I like the chill factory kit better than the hahns

 

I'm also looking into turbo side of life. I would like to go with a Chill factory setup, but I was wondering, if later down the road, if I wanted to upgrade my turbo, will I have to modify the manifold? I think they come with a 16G right??? If so, would it be wise to also purchase a T3/T4 and swap it out? And one more question...... would it be wise to add on a external wastegate to the setup?
