Izero's Front Bumper Flares - Interest Thread
I think they look nice. It *IS* a very subtle difference, but an eye pleasing one.
I want to change my car to an SRT front bumper, I'll see how it looks then. I might be interested at that point, depending on how the new bumper looks & how it lines up with the sideskirts
~also~ ...if the front flaring is broader than the rear or trailing edge of the wheel well, it will create an under-pressure in the wheel well, which would circulate more air through the wheel well, potentially improving brake cooling (albeit by a very small amount). On the other hand, if the front flaring is smaller than the rear it'd make a small overpressure which would do the same thing, but with a tad more wind resistance.

Basically guys, it's a piece of metal that you can screw into the sides of the bumpers and it pushes out the ends of the bumper where it curves inward. The unflared bumpers look weird and it also decreases aerodynamics because when at a high speed, the wind hits your tires which in turn decreases your speed. If you have the flares, the wind would just push right over everything and you'll cut through the wind. Although this is only a slight help, the main purpose of the flares is for looks.

I'm not 100% sure if it will work with the 2002 R/t bumper.... thats all so I fixed the page.. sorry bout that and I may be offering a package deal when I finish the rears... rears wont be finished until it stops snowing and raining though... wet ground to sit on is no fun in the winter....
and NO you WILL NOT need to drill into the bumper but you will need to drill ONE (TWO IS OPTIONAL) TINY HOLEs in the fender well guard which is no big deal and will get filled with a nice speednut and screw... so no worries there
