Exclamation Tires

I currently have a 05 dodge neon sxt,I took off the stock rims. I put on the srt4 rims but with 205/40/17 but i do not like the sidewall. Just not enough sidewall to handle anything. I was wondering if 215-45-17 would work without rubbing or interfering when i turn, I was looking on tirerack and wheelsnext and discount tires and they say they wont fit my car, I have a standard suspension nothing lowered yet. They tell me that 215-40-17 will but again 40 series is not alot of play, I was hoping I could get an answer before i waste money on them and find out they dont. thanks for any suggestions

I think the 215's fit. There are a couple of recent threads on this. You may look through them for a quicker answer.

It depends on the design of the tires, my yokohama's rub slightly but I have heard of other people running 45 series tires on stock suspension with no problems.
