Default Broken High Voltage Coil Lead

The wire (High Voltage Coil Lead) that connects ignition coil to the rotor or distributor body has broken. Is the high voltage coil lead the same thing as the spark plug wire. How does one replace the high voltage coil lead? What parts would I need to do the replacement.

is it the clip that you are talking about??? and if so, what broke, the wire or the clip? if the clip you can get a replacement part at the dealership to fix that, or even better hit up a junk yard and get the connector you are looking for. swap out the pins and you are back on the road.

What I thought was the hot coil lead, was a wire going from the engine to the airfilter area. My friend put it back together with his hands. I'll probably tape it up, so it won't fall apart. Do you know anything about this plug/hose? I got a new battery and the car started up just fine; but thanks for the info.
