Not sure about the shift ****....

The cluster plugs directly in and the only thing you will lose is the mileage. I just installed the 2004 cluster in my 2001 SE because it didn't include a tach. I got my cluster off ebay for $40 shipped. Check them out. I had the question a long time ago about whether or not the tach was already wired into my factory harness. I found out that they are for all Dodge vehicles manufactured after 1980.

If you put a manual shift **** onto your automatic, how would you shift it? You have to have the button to unlock the shifter. If you really need an LED shift ****, I'm sure you can find one on eBay at the least.

+1 on the guage cluster ...I also replaced my SE non-tach cluster with one from an SXT.. which also changed it from the black gauge faces to the white gauge faces, as well as gaining the tach...got mine from e-bay also for right around the same price.

On the auto shift ****, I can relate.... there is NOT alot of auto replacements to be found on e-bay...possibly even NONE at most times...there are TONS of manual replacement *****. I had also wanted to change mine to something non-stock-y, but gave up. I did read here, or somewhere, that u can use a non-button auto ****, and to switch positions, u just push down...supposedly, that's all the button does.
I'm not a big fan of mounting something that LOOKS like a manual shift.... what do u do, PRETEND to shift when yer at a stoplight or driving?... seems to me the same as mounting SRT-4 badges on yer trunk when u don't even have an SRT-4 or even a turbo, ..and people rag on that to no end
