Exclamation Motor Mount Trouble PLEASE HELP! :D

I am in the process of changing out my water pump and timing belt.

I got those changed out but I can't seem to get the motor mount of the passenger side to line up properly.

Do ya'll have any tips on getting this to line up? I have tried everything that I can think of.

Thanks in advance guys.

I have tried that but I can't get it to line up just right.

Is there anything else you could recommend?

Thanks

try unbolting the motor mount from the frame and bolt it on to the engine. not too tight so u can move it around and try to bolt it to the frame

the lower motor mounts are notched, so if u loosen the one up going to the car, u will get some play in it... then try to move the motor and it should line up.

make sure the rubber bushing is not coming down and blocking the hole up for the bolt to come thru, and just like contagious said, carefully raise and lower till you get the mount flush, use a trouble light just to be sure, it cant be that hard bro... good luck

Which mount? There is a certain spot that Dodge recommends in the shop manuals to jack the engine up to help achieve proper alignment. It is basically on the front of the oil pan area so you can kind of rock the engine back and forth by raising/lowering to line it up-.

i had the same prob. the motor has to be rotated backwards. almost like the top of the motor is going into the fire wall like. and drop below the mount and jack up into position rather than lower into position.
