Default SRT plug wires

In case anyone is wondering.....they do work on the regular neon. I got some 9mm plug wires on a group buy from srtforums. Well I put them on last night and car idles fine, runs fine, everything. In fact, my car used to hesitate at times when starting out in gear before i switched wires. It hasn't done that yet and seems like it actually runs smoother with the new wires. I'll have to take a look at my old wires to see if maybe one of them was burned, but I didn't look too close last night cause I changed them in the dark. I post a pic up later today cause they're yellow wires, to match the rest of my scheme with the car.

Thatg is cool. Good to hear. I may get them first because of that hesitation. I doubt your wires are burned, because mine has been doing that hesitation since I got it. And talked to someone where I use to work that has an 03 and had the same problem.

Mine hasn't always done it though. Just recently its been doing it semi-often. Its kind of annoying because it goes and then it bogs for a second, then goes (only does it in first gear). I thought it could just be all the cold weather and such and the computer adjusting things, but I'm beginning to think that wasn't it. The only reason I switched my wires was because I found yellow ones. Anyways, I have a pic of my stock wires vs my new wires. Look at how much bigger the wire on the new ones is. Since I have replaced, no hesitation, idles like normal, and goes as good if not better under full load.

Dude....you obviously don't live in michigan or anyplace where it rains or snows. There is no point to me cleaning my engine bay unless my car is going in a show because it will just get dirty again....but thanks for the comment. I already knew my engine bay was dirty, I wasn't trying to win a clean engine bay award. I'll clean it up in the summer when will actually stay clean for awhile.
