For some reason it says in the haynes manual that the car gets lifted over the engine? So the engine comes out the bottom not the top. I've got everything taken off my engine(Harness, lines, etc) and it looks really tight in there...is it possible to lift it out the top? Anyone done this before on a neon?
i did mine out the top... it was not to bad if u have everything off the block.... make sure it is tipped at an angle, tranny lower, and pull the hood off.. and it comes right out.... going back in is a trick however
I have taken out the motor out the top many times you just got angle it right the tranny has too almost be pointing straight down. too the bracket for the battery tray
