Default advice on new rims

i need help finding new rims for my 03 dodge neon se... its red and i want rims that will look nice on it...i was thinking about going to 16 but i dont want anything to get messed up... as of right now im thinking about geting ASA AR1 rims black wit crome lips... let me know what u think... thanks

imo 17s are the biggest you should go. 16s are a good choice. I always want plenty of tire on my wheels.

I agree, 16 are the way to go! Isn't there a loss of torque by going to bigger wheels due to the weight?

In a somewhat related note, how wide of a wheel can fit on a stock suspension SXT?
I'm looking at some BBS RSII's but they're 17x8... I really like them though.

yeah i think so off the start.... but i think ur higher end speed is faster

does anyone know what has to be done to put

yeah i think ur low end speed is slower but ur high end speed is faster.... does anyone know what has to be done to put bigger rims on my dodge neon se? my rims right now are 14s

ooo ok it doesnt mess up ur speedomiter or anything? is there anything u have to ajust?

Here's my story and pic... I also went with 16" wheels... they will fit, just bolt on ..the thing you have to look for is waht is called the "off-set"... this tells how far out or in the mounting point is... whether the wheel will stick way out of too far in...beleive the stock is between 38 and 40
also watch the width of the wheel.. I think at 38 to 40 offset the max would be around 7 inches wide...

here's the ons I got...you can see the numbers listed at the top.... the 38 with the letters is the offset

here they are on the car... some think the gap is still too much in the fenders, and like to lower the car...but I'm ok with it since I roll daily and have bad roads...
