Looks like a neon. The best thing you did was taking the scoop off. Think about how much stuff you can do with your car cause of all the aftermarket stuff out there. Do what you think is right though and don't rush it. I used to spend alot of time looking at my car wondering what I wanted to do with it, and in under a year it's pretty much a different car.

swap the hood with srt hood, get a carbon fiber hood, or can a hood be converted to a cowl hood? some thought!

-Yeah, definitely a good choice of dropping that little hood scoop. I didn't pick up on that at first from the small pic.

here is the hood i'm eventually gonna get but not right now cuz i have nothing to back it up lmao but eventually once i drop the 408 in i'll get this hood. right now i'm just looking for a decent look.

Although people do keep bugging me to turbo it and get like a 50 shot. So i might end up doing it since i would like some more power. I can get another engine for 600 and only has 80 miles and it's an instructor i know so i trust him. But i would go with eagle crank and rods to hold the boost and a crane cam so i don't really need a engine with low miles cuz i'm gonna re-build it anyways. I don't know what i want to do right now for performance because i want to turn it into a drag/street car with a small block mopar and i think i'd be wasting money putting it into the 2.0 when i'm gonna replace it down the road anyways.

Doesn't look too bad.

Look into an SRT hood though

You only use that kind of hood if you have a big chevy under the hood....

If i was planning on putting a big chevy under the hood i'd just save my time and money and build the 2.0 so that i have more power and money. Sorry i'm a mopar lover. Plus taking a 360 and stroking it to a 408 with a bunch of other goodies i can still have 1500hp while being light weight and having plenty of power and torque. All a big block can provide for me is more weight and costing more. I'm pretty sure 1500hp is gonna be plenty for the neon if i take it that far. Thanks.
