well it depends, auto or manual? The auto tb is bigger, 52mm I think. Manual 49mm

 

It depends on the car man....

 

my automatic, being an 2002, came with a 49 mm TB

 

all stock TB's are between 49mm and 52mm, most are 49. i believe it depends on both year and transmission.

incidentally, if you're thinking about a larger TB, remember that the area of the TB's face is Pi(r^2), so 49mm across ends up being 1885sq.mm, while something like 55mm TB ends up being 2375sq.mm (or 26% more frontal area). In other words, its more than it sounds like at a glance. And a 60mm TB is more than half again the frontal area of a 49mm.
