I got the 6000k 35w for wife's neon and 5000k 50w for my avalanche. I am happy with my purchase. I got them from www.TreadRacing.com/hidlights.html for $79 w/lifetime warranty. Easy install. The 5000k 50w bulbs are brighter than wifes. If I had to do it again, I probably would have went both with the 5000k and 50w. Live and learn.

so HID is just a brighter bulb, basically

now I knowthe difference between just an HID kit..and a PROJECTOR kit/replacements
..and the projectors can come with or without HID bulbs
