I have my srt4 hood on my neon and I'll put it on here when I get home.

 

That hood is shot, you can get the dents out, but it will always have waves in it.

 

thats tru. the paint chiped in one spot today. i flaked it off. I will probley order the carbon fiber one off howell soon. I will post some pics if that gets done but i probley wont put it on my car till it gets a lil warmer. is this a good idea or does it not matter.

 

oh and how much lighter is the carbon fiber one then the stock metel one?

 

a good carbon fiber hood weighs about 8 lbs or less....the stock hood im not sure i know its no less than 40lbs though

yea carbon fiber hoods are very strong...i mean they will break easier than the stock hoods but they are good and strong hoods

 

I don't know how much the CF ones weigh, but I took my stock hood off the other day and its not that heavy. I thought it would weigh more
