Default Red circle of death 2005 SX 2.0

Stock Canadian SX 2.0

I returned to my car outside at work to find it would not start looking at the dash the red immobilizer light was on steady, not flashing. From what I understand that means it's an electrical problem. I found a wire hanging down on the driver side by the wheel well, not sure what colour it is but I do have a tag on it. the number are 04794265AD 61789 I have no clue where it goes or does and if its the problem.

thank in advance

There are grounds in both wheel wells that attach to the strut assembly.

those wires are and i quote by the dealer " not needed", they ended up taking mine out because they had no idea what they were and thought i put those there. anyways, i have had the same problem with the Circle of death light lol, and it ended up being just a fuse.

well weird thing happened, last night i tried over and over to get it started and it wouldn'taww even turn over. this morning however as soon as we put the key in it turned over and started, the red circle of death was gone and surprisingly that damn engine light went away too. kinda strange i guess. kinda scared to drive it down the highway to take our newborn to her hearing test on thrusday.

deffentally a short. where you are at is there a lot of moisture lately??? Rain, snow melting. condensation could be causing this issue.

Perhaps you can get a picture of this wire you found with the tag?

okay so the red light is off, back to the way it should be just one for the bulb check for a few at start up. we cleaned the battery terminals and that seemed to solve that. now its become messed right up. driving don the highway i would loss power completely and it would start to die out until i hit the gas, weird thing is the speedometer would drop to 0 km during this, hoping it would fix itself we kept going and made it to where we were going with little problems. going to come home, turn the key normal start up and then bam, died. again restarted and continued on. futher down the highway, the the engine light comes on and as soon as you let off the gas the rpms drop and it dies, if you drive steady it will run but the second you even just let off the slightest the car just sputters out if you hit the gas it runs normal. lets just say it was fun going threw the s-turns at 110 km/h because if i slowed down it would die and i would lose my power brakes and all that fun stuff, but turning on to my road was weird...Just like I knew it would and planned ahead, when I pushed in the clutch it died and I just kept it rolling untin the turn slowing it down then started it as I made the turn and kept going. but after the turn the engine light turned off and it didnt stall going into the driveway. the car is possessed or something but the red circle of death is gone (immobization light lol) atless.
