so, I usually spend my time in the Dodge Ram section of the forums but I'm here today because my wife's daily driver - 2003 Neon SXT died today.
She was driving on the highway (maybe around 60mph) and heard a clunk and then the engine died. She was able to start the car up again but could only get to 5 MPH, if she hit the gas the tach would move fine but the car wouldn't shift and then it would eventually stall again.
I haven't had a chance to look at the car yet but was wondering if anybody had any ideas. It's sounding like some sort of tranny issue obviously...

I'll know as soon as I get to the car. Been stuck at work all day so I haven't had a chance to get to it.
