the Civic EX, with 125 horsepower couldn come close to the neon engine’s torque, despite variable valve timing.the magies are an sohc 150 hp but who knows maybe an engine swap???

ok thats all i wanted to know...so your basing it off a racing perspective.. but overall civics are reliable as hell..just like my neon..no problems with my 98 neon 112k my civic has a 214k original motor..granted the neon is getting a high compression motor being put in once i can find my damn cams...and stock for stock idk who would win i have had my neon beat my civic and my civic beat my neon...always drivers error but engine swaps and nothing can really touch the civic swaps available...compared to a neon..you have a 2.4. not knocking my neon though.. amazing little cars
