Default had a chance to use my g tech pro today/quarter mile time

i finally got a chance to use my g tech pro today. the best quarter mile time i got was a 16.16 at 89 mph. it also said i was getting about 108 horsepower at the wheels. my neon is a 2004 r/t, all stock with k and n filter. i didnt realize until today just how slow this car really is. any one else have any times they would like to share feel free to post here, along with your mods

Sounds about right. I think factory 2.0 SOHC cars go what, high 16's low 17's? The horsepower estimate seems low, not sure if it is though. I don't know exactly what these cars get to the wheels.

That sounds pretty accurate. I got a best time of 16.3@84mph completely bone stock. After intake/exhaust the best I was able to do was 16.03@88mph. Mine is the regular neon though, not RT.

when i was na with a ported head, cam, springs, intake, and exhaust, i was in the high 15s, i can not remember what it was though. it was like four years ago.

when i boosted the car running 8psi, i ran a 13.89 about two years ago...

the hp is so low because it is giving you a gross hp which includes wind resistance and stuff

the 150hp rating is accualy based at the crank not the wheels, so if u had it dynoed then that is the number u put to the wheels, where manufactiors messure it on a engine dyno giving the crank number and not what power it looses gettin it to the wheels

neons just dont make enough power..i like mine alot but after intake and exhaust its almost a waste of money to go further unless ur willing to do a motor swap...if not then save your money to upgrade to a better platform
