Angry engine wont start, crank nothing

i have a 2001 dodge neon. while driving up a hill the car turned off as if i turned the key and shut it off. now it wont crank or make any noise at all while turning the key. check engine light did not come on and doesnt come on at first when key is turned. all dash lights headlights and horn work. replaced battery and nothing. got a code reader and it wont work sence the check engine light didnt come on. any help would be nice.

i would check the connector on the pcm or your pcm is junk i would think.

The check engine light does not have to be on to have codes. Either, there are no codes or the reader was used incorrectly. Providing it was used correctly but the reader reported an error, there may be an issue with the PCM.

can't be the timing belt cuz the car would still turn over just wouldn't start.

the car has 90,000 miles. ive located the pcm but cant figure out how to get the wires unplugged. i dont see any clip but i dont want to break anything pulling on it if its got some sort of clip i cant see. really id love to bash it with a rock. its my wifes car after all

and yes the reader did report an error. i used two differant readers and had someone thats used them many times help me with it.

have u checked all fuses? i had this problem when i started my car for the first time in three years, and there is a main fuse on the drivers side fuse block it runs the starter and main relays of the car.... check there if u have not already

yeah all fuses and relays are good. i switched the relays around, they are all the same. i doubt they could all be blown. maybe there is another fuse box somewhere? i know my truck has two

there is a fuse block in the passanger compartment.... if u open the drivers side door and look in at the dash, there is a panell that hooks to the dash. pull the panel off and look at all those fuses...
