Won't void the warranty, Won't harm the motor, Will protect it just fine with Mobil 1. Heck it is used as factory fill now for more cars than you can shake a stick at. Mercedes, Dodge Viper and SRT4 (I think on the second one), Corvette, Porsche. The machining finish on todays engines and there tolerances. no biggie. Fill and go.

Don't worry, Be happy!

Actually Royal Purple recommends waiting until 2000 miles.

well i changed the oil 2 times since i had it and its currently got 5000 miles on it. When i called the mechanic at the dealer he said it shouldnt make a difference, and he said not to go back to mopar non-synthetic. So i dunno what to do?
asking the dealer is about the worst thing you can do when you buy a car.........most of them are idiots....or they just don't care.

400 miles is fine for switching to synthetic. sure, more like 3k miles would be better, but absolutely nothing wrong will happen by switching that soon. if the motor isnt "broken in" by 400 miles, youve got other problems.

theres been plenty of tests showing that the engine can be built, started up, and ran hard without issues... 400 miles is much longer of a period of time "being easy" on a motor than what those other motors in the tests went through. heh.

That is true, but how long did they run these motor before they died? 100,000?
