They work great if you don't go to high over the speed limit. You have to stay below 20 over. And it's all about the quality. Those cheapo's at Walmart that cost under or around 100 bucks are absolutely worthless. No features, horrible range. I've never bought a detector that wasn't over $150.

Escort and Beltronics are your top notch detectors. Valentine is the worst of the top 3 premium ones... and if you go cheap, go with Whistler. Cobra's never test well unless they are mid range models.

but reguarding buying one,its worthless buying the lowest model so either get 2nd best or best.i've had mine for 2 years and its still kickin a**

Ive had mines for over 5 years now. I love it. Im looking into getting a new one. N30N whats up with those speed signs on the highway? When I went through KY I didnt see a single cop but saw about 5 of those signs telling me my speed. They made my radar go crazy. Coming back I still didnt see any cops. That was the only state without speed traps.

 

i dont have one....... prolly never will.... i would rather put the 200 tward my motor mounts.

 

im always broke wish it were illegal cuz maybe then id have money but then again id probably be in jail for ever lol
