Just put a obx header and downpipe on the neon. It has a thrush glasspack and a srt4 rear exhaust and it is LOUD!!!!! I'll take a video here in a little bit. Hopefully my camera can get the sound without making the mic not pick it up. I need to find a muffler that will quiet this thing down.

sorry that i didn't get one yet. I'll try and see if one of my friends will come over after class tonight and do it. Don't hold your breath though.

 

get a dual outlet muffler, like flowmaster or Magnaflow, it will quiet it down, just need to get rid of the SRT rear section. Thats a good header I had one on my 04 sxt, its a nice fit didnt have to modify the exhaust.

 

ur car was loud when i hurd it a while ago smallblock, LOL, LOUDER NOW? damn!!!

 

yeah dt it is way louder now then before lol. I'm gonna try and get one today or tonight.

 

i have to get my car to the exhaust shop, when i put my swaybar on in the rear i had to drop the one side of the exhaust, it hits the sway bar when i start the car and sounds like ****! lol, just one small thing i have to get fixed... along with a few others... lol

 

well i tried to get one last night but the batteries died on the camera plus my srt4 rear section just randomly popped off the rest of the exhaust good thing it's got hangers other wise it would of been skidding down the road lol.

 

I want LOUD as possible.. I might have to do the OBX long tube header as well. I just dont want the engine light on and I need it to pass inspection. I just want long tube headers to hook up to my current srt-4 exhaust. Did you have to do any mods in the engin bay or where the old headers were in order to connect them.

 

if u want it loud, u r looking for cop problems.... that is why i like mine, loud when i get on it, and not to bad when i am just cruizen.
