Ok i ordered a carbon fiber hood from howell. on the 9th. its been 2 weeks and still havent got a call from grey hound to pick it up. I called howell and they told me it should be there any day. called them today to get the tracking # and they didnt have it. they told me they didnt get the hood in from the manufactuer yet therfor they didnt send it out. Its been 2 weeks and they dont even have the hood in yet. what should i do? thanks

 

Call Howell and tell them you want your money back. Order the hood from someplace else. Simple as that.

 

i might do that im callin back tomm cuz my mom called them today and they told us that they didnt get it in yet. so we said call the manufacturer and find out were it is and they said they will call tomm. so im gunn call them back later tomm.

 

Well if they don't have a good answer for you I would cancel my order, if it was me. What hood is it by the way?

 

yeah, i work in in retail (recieving dept) so i deal with vendors all the time. they lie through their teeth. if they cant give you good information and exact dates, then they dont know. id cancel and order else where unless their the cheapest

 

im gunna wait and see what happins. I ordred the carbon fiber hood. from auto dezign. it was 299$. good price but maybe ebay would be better. I mean they could of called and said its gunna be a while cuz its not in yet, then id be fine cuz im not in a rush, but no they lie to me untill i got my parent on the phone to get there facts straight. He's like well i dont know what guy you talked to blaa blaa but i cant call them cuz were to busy. then my mom flipped and said well u better find time tomm, cuz they were closing in 10 min. so im gunna see what the deal is tommarow........... Fu*kers! (after i get my tints on)

 

any way i called today and they said they just got it in and he will send it out first thing tomm morning.

 

well thats good.. i had a problem like that when i ordered a digital camera online.... i ended up canceling my order and contacting the BBB to look into them...... turns out they had like 500 compaints in like 6 months.. so now i check the BBB website to see how good of a compeny they are before i order stuff.

 

That's how they are; I also had a bad situation. I'm not going to give u the whole situation but, I ordered some fuel injectors from Howell and they didn't tell me the truth either. I was about to cancel the injectors but, they said they already sended them out WITH my shift boot. There isn't a return on electrical parts. I ended up getting my shift boot by itself (no injectors). The injectors came way later.

As soon as u try to track things down the truth comes out. They probably still haven't received your hood yet. They are probably hittin u w/ BS to make u feel better and keep your business.

 

Howell is giving me crap also I got some rx300 cf tail s from them and fed ex cracked one of them and howell said they were ordering me some to replace them and its been a while so I would say go to maybe carbon designs they are were im gettin mine later on . good luck.
