My 2002 neon with 97,000 miles giving me a po0455 code (large evap leak detected). I replaced the leak detection pump a month ago, as the the switch inside had failed...or so I was i was told. I had it smoke checked 2 days ago and the mechanic said there were no leaks and cleared the code. Today after 37 miles the code showed up. I would like to do some electrical checks on the leak detection system but the Haynes book is useless with no schematics for this system. Does any one know where I can find a schematic for the system or know of a way I can verify that new leak detection pump is not faulty?

befor you go that deep into it i would check your gas cap i had the same problem with my car evap leak i bought a new cap from napa where i work had the code reset an hasent come back i would try that first just my .02
