Default 2.0 using oil

In 3000 miles in the month my wife has had this car (you'd think it was mine the way I'm spending money on it, but hey, I done told her I'm jealous) it has used 2qt of oil. No hard driving, just normal daily driving. Any ideas? It doesn't smoke, and I sure don't want to do a ring job...

How many miles are on the car? It could be the valve stem seals. Are you sure the cam seal and head gasket are not leaking? Maybe check the PCV to make sure it's working right.

If there is no oil on the outside of the motor, its the stem seals or rings. Thats if there is no oil in the radiator.

Depends on what it is and if you can do it your self or your gonna take it to a shop. Shop- $2000, yourself $500. Somewhere around there.
