blah! what a loser to bring up someones family in a neon forum. ive also read that you have never changed your timing belt, so what the hell do you know about it, and why are you even putting in your useless input.

The reason i say you are partially correct is the cam magnets changed in '03. So unless you have complete heads from the years you want to swap it may take a trip to the dealer.

'03-'05 use the new cam magnet and 95-02 use another. Also the PCV location is different in 1995 then in the other model years.
Your additional information doe snot make my previous post less correct. The cam shaft was never mentioned, or what the OP intends to use. There are cam shaft differences, but all will function in any sohc car. Cam shafts were not part of the question, making your post partially correct. Swapping a cam magnet is hardly as issue, if you are correct in the magnet differences. The OP asked about a 98 sohc and 2000 cylinder heads. I doubt a 95 valve cover will cause an issue, since it is not being used.

I also am not sure what you mean by 2001 DOHC... yes they make them but, again, his question is not about heads on cloud cars or even swapping one for that matter.
If you read up, you stated that dohc heads were not made after 1999. This is incorrect, and the reason for my comment toward the cloud cars/srt/pt cruiser. These vehicles all used 2001+ dohc heads.
