Thanks for the update, showsxt. I'll be really interested to see how it goes. I still have to change my middle mount on my 05 SXT and I would love to know what I'm in for. If you don't mind, let me know what it entails, because I've read in other places that it requires removing many of the front parts of the engine.

Will do if it does involve removing parts in the front engine my husband is really good at that and fast also. Hes done everything to my engine so the middle mount and tranny mount shoud be very easy.

You do have to remove quite a bit of parts. The motor mount is the last thing that comes out before you change the timing belt and water pump.

husband is progressing slowly guess he was wrong was tougher than he though on getting the middle mount out not removing all the parts and the tranny one was a nice condtion. So it got dark and cold out so he had to quit and wait till the morning.

showsxt - I'd love hear how the replacement of the middle mount went. In your last post, your husband was part of the way through it.

Yeah he got it off in no time in daylight and it was the middle mount and not the tranny mount. You do have to remove some parts but he didnt mind . She runs better than before thats forsure.

Thanks for the update, showsxt. Good news. One question for you, or for darthroush, is can you tell me what the proper adjustment of the upper torque mount should be? I read in past posts on this thread that it should be positioned so that it is 4.68" (or 119mm) from something on the mount to something on the car frame. But I was never clear what those two reference points are. Can someone please clarify?

I added the procedure to a link in my signature. I'm tired of having to go and hunt for these things everytime, lol.
