Default Bell when driving

I got a 2005, sxt with about 700 miles on it.
I just noticed that I seem to get a single "bell" tone when I first start driving. At first I thought maybe it was just telling me I was in gear or moving or something like that. That may be all it is. I haven't really spent a lot of time listening for it. I just occasionally notice it.
It sounds like when you leave the door open, but there is no "door" indicator showing when I hear this. It is only right after I start the car and after it goes through the seat belt check, It then chimes once.

Any idea what this is?

Thanks.

How long has this been happening? Is it all the time?

The car normally tells u what it is.
Is it the Check Engine Light?

I had the same experience. It chimed when I started to go. Then would chime every copuple minutes after. with no indicator lights. I found that one of the back doors was barely closed.

There is no check engine light on or anything light that. I only seem to notice it when I first get ready to drive away. I am really going to start paying attention to it. So far it has been one of those things that I occasionally notice but do not think much of.
It seems to have just recently started.

I think I may check the rear door. For some reason it seems that they do not close properly all of the time.
With my kids, I never can tell. Possibly it is open enough to cause the alarm to sound occasionally, but not enough to cause the indicator to come on....yeah, I bet that is all it is.

Thanks

No problem. That is what happened to me. It was closed but I guess it wasn't closed just enough. Drove me crazy while I was driving for anout an hour trying tro figure it out. Then I saw the door slightly not level with the car. I pushed a little and the chime went away[8D]
