Default Transmission swap question

Alright, I want to swap my SE from an atx to a mtx. Am I more or less stuck with the 2.0 trannies, or will the SRT4 tranny fit the 2.0 block? I know there's other transmissions that will work (like from the 2nd gen Eclipse and the PT Cruiser, off the top of my head), but I'd really like the LSD that the '04/'05 SRT4 has. Of course, if either of the other trannies that fit have an LSD, that would work too; that's mostly what I'm concerned about.

And, now that I think about it, would I be able to just take my car to a Chrysler dealership and have them augment the ecu for a manual, or what? Would it be cheaper to just buy a whole new ecu for the manual? More or less, any info on making the swap an easier transition from an atx would be appreciated.

Except for the fact that, on top of the $6,000-$12,000, depending on the seller's price, that there's the cost of modifications. In the end, it's simply cheaper for me to convert my current Neon. At any rate, I'm not going for the 2.4 swap, anyways.
