Everytime I put gas in my 2003 Dodge Neon, it starts bucking/jerking maybe two/three times in a roll.. days go by it might do it again, might not untill I fill it up again. Sometimes feels it's the transmission is trying to shift down in a lower gear or someones putting on brakes. It slows the car down and i've almost gotten hit by someone behind me when it's doing this.

Also, now the check engine light is coming on for the oil/seat belts. Goes on and off many times when I touch the brakes to slow down/turn/stop. I've taken it to a transmission place and they said it was fine and they couldn't help me until it left me by the road, as it's a periodical problem and not each time you get in the car.

 

u need to check the check engine light.with your car off u need to cycle from off to acc 3 times within 5 seconds and look for the code where ur mialage is shown.
