So I am new to this forum, looks like it could potentially be a helpful place for some advice. So here we go....

I have a 2005 Dodge Neon SXT, 2.0L DOHC, 5-speed (manual). It is essentially stock other than that garden variety b/s - k&n cold air kit, iridium spark plugs, manual exhaust bypass (which I am pretty sure does nothing more than make an assload of noise).

I dont really want to mess with the gas mileage capability too much, but I need more power. I traded in my 1999 Cummings for a "mileage car" for college. I am assuming I am making somewhere around 140hp and I have no idea what the hell I am doing as far as tuning goes. I do know two things #1 I DO NOT want to mess with a turbo or changing out pistons, #2 I really don't want to mess with cams either. So I guess I am open for any suggestions, but once again I really dont want to mess with a turbo....
